Mahatma Basweshwar Mahavidyalaya,Latur provides extension services to the students such as NCC ,NSS and Personality Development & Career Counselling Centre Cell.
NCC [National Cadet Corps]
In order to build the nation dynamically and to produce the qualities of leadership, discipline, fraternity, sportsmanship, secular outlook and ideals of selfless service in the cadets, the NCC unit was started in the college in 1970.
The NCC unit conducts every year ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate examination.Our cadets attend Annual Training Camp,Thal Sainik Camp, National Integration Camp, Advance Leadership Camp, Scuba Diving, Combined Annual Training Camp etc. Our cadets have been awarded Chief Minister Scholarship, Well-Fare Society Scholarship and Gold medals.The Best NCC cadets were selected for Republic Day.A parade cadet officer participated in Disaster Management Training Course has won the Chancellor’s Brigade first prize.
Our NCC unit is also active in organizing Awareness Campaign, Social Activities such AIDS Awareness Campaign, Pulse Polio Programme,Eye Health Camp, Tree Plantation, Prophylactic Measures for Communicable Diseases, Blood Donation Camp, Sanitary Measures and anti-dowry pledge.
All the activities are conducted under the guidance of the captain Prof. B.M. Godbole.
NSS [National Service Scheme]
N.S.S. unit of the college is one of the most active units. The university has sanctioned 250 volunteer students for our unit. There are three program officers.The various programmes of the unit are campus cleanliness, tree plantation, eradication of superstition, anti-addition drive, anti- AIDS drive, Pulse-polio drive, cultural programmes and camp and lectures of well known personalities.
Blood Donation
The unit organizes blood donation camp every year in collaboration with Dr. Bhalchandra Blood Bank & Civil Hospital.
Special Youth Camps
A ten-day camp is organized every year on specific themes. Almost all volunteers participate in the camps.

Personality Development, Career Counselling & Placement Cell
The college has Personality Development Centre which works for all-round development of the students. It is the unique feature of the college. This centre runs various activities such as classes organized for preparation of Competitive exam, Group- discussion, Interview techniques. Soft-skill development programs are also arranged by this centre. Many students from the college centre benefited and get recruited at various positions. It conducts general knowledge tests and also gives substantial coaching to the students
The activities of this centre include -
