About Us
The well-reputed Mahatma Basweshwar Education Society, Latur is the parent body of several educational institutions including Mahatma Basweshwar Mahavidyalaya, Latur, which was established in 1970. The college imparts instruction to nearly 4000 undergraduate and postgraduate students in Arts, Science, Commerce, Social Work, and Computer Science with the aim of fostering intellectual awakening and transformation in the educational, economic, social, and cultural fields of Marathwada.
The college boasts a large campus with four multi-storeyed buildings, a playground, well-equipped laboratories, and a library containing over one lakh books and journals. Over the years, Mahatma Basweshwar Mahavidyalaya has earned a reputation as one of the leading colleges in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra — a college with a difference.

Campus
The college has developed a vast and modern infrastructure with spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a separate hostel for boys, ladies’ common room, tiffin room, auditorium, computer centre, and a large playground. The library building includes two reading rooms and separate buildings for Arts, Administration, Library, Science, M.C.V.C., and Social Work faculties.
