Introduction

The Department of Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) at Mahatma Basweshwar College, Latur was established in June 1983 with the objective of imparting professional education and training in Social Work. The department aims to prepare competent social work professionals capable of addressing social issues and contributing to social welfare and development.

The department emphasizes the integration of theory and practice, interdisciplinary learning, and field-based training to develop knowledge, skills, values, and ethical commitment essential to the Social Work profession.
