Introduction

The Department of Commerce at Mahatma Basweshwar College, Latur was established in June 1971 with the objective of providing quality education in commerce and business studies. The department aims to prepare students to meet the challenges of the dynamic business, industrial, and corporate environment at national and global levels.

The department focuses on developing analytical thinking, managerial competence, entrepreneurial skills, and ethical values among students. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure, the department equips students with the skills required for employment, entrepreneurship, and higher studies.
